RR IPL 2025 Full Schedule, Fixtures, Match List, Dates, Venue: Rajasthan Royals, led by Sanju Samson, are looking to win their second Indian Premier League title after clinching the inaugural title in 2008. The Royals start their campaign against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23 (Sunday). The Royals’ first game at home this season will be at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati when they take on the defending champions, the Kolkata Knight Riders. After playing two of their “home games” at Guwahati, the Royals will shift homes and play all their remaining home games at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Rajasthan Royals were one of the two teams to opt to retain six players before the IPL mega auction ahead of this season. The desire to maintain a strong core of Indian players was evident in their retentions: the franchise retained Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer and Sandeep Sharma.

In the IPL mega auction, Royals splashed the cash for international stars like Jofra Archer, Maheesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga besides Indian players like Tushar Deshpande and Nitish Rana.
