KKR IPL 2025 retained and released players: The defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders will unfortunately have to dismantle their set team that won them their 3rd Indian Premier League crown and rebuild once again as they finalize their retentions ahead of the 2025 auctions.
According to reports, KKR will cut ties with their IPL winning skipper Shreyas Iyer with the franchise and the player failing to come to terms on a common ground while they are also expected to let go of big names like Andre Russell and Mitchell Starc but will likely hope to snap them up in the auction.
With the IPL set to head into another mega-auction and a fresh three-year cycle, starting with the IPL 2025 season next year, the upcoming retentions will prove to be crucial for all 10 franchises in adopting new strategies for success.
