Now, this is fun. Chairman Geoff Bellew has sent panellists Henry Perenara and Greg McCallum from the room.
And he’s asking NRL counsel and Flanagan’s defence to clarify their arguments and what we’re arguing here given we’ve gone round in circles.

Takes them both to task a bit before calling the panellists back.
I do like it when Bellew lays down the law. He’s now providing directions to his panel and this is the bit where he shoots down any arguments that don’t pass muster. Get me my popcorn.
“All media coverage must be ignored,” Bellew says.
“You don’t have to accept everything that is said.”
Bellew says not to put any stock in whether Crichton is here or not, and that the panel should only judge based on the evidence before them, not what his absence means or what he might have said or not said.
Flanagan’s reasonably clean record can be taken into account, “but it does not provide him with a defence to the charge”.
“If you’re not satisfied that an intentional bite is inflicted, then you must find the player not guilty.”
